That looks cool!! Love the idea of doing the inner structure on the frame silver and painting the outsides frame color!

The car will be at Bakersfield for the hot rod reunion. It may be at the long beach motorama if it gets together in time. Re-assymbly is currently underway! It will be racing the nastalga drags but dont know if it will be ready to run at the hot rod reunion but if its not it will be on the track shortly. I know im excited to see her make a pass under power and the Vulcans are as well.

Unbelievable build... I just saw the album on Facebook today and burned up an hour looking thru all the pics.

    Thanks for sharing!

Here are a couple pics of the vicky finished and at the recent Long Beach Motorama. The vicky took home best in class.

    Congratulations on a well-deserved award.

Not only have you brought back a classic, but you did it to preserve memories, all that work and money, could have gone into a modern drag car, but instead we have this outstanding recreation, says a ton about all involved in this project...(I remember the original, really wish I could see it now).

Came across the Spirit of Munro on Bike Exif, which led me to searching for this local shop I hadn't heard of. Started reading this thread, got through a couple pages and then jumped to the back to see the final product, and nearly spit coffee all over my laptop when I saw a car I'd photographed quickly at the Mooneyes show...
