Not far yet, but it will be a blast, he begann with the engine, and sort of collects the parts as he goes, the best thing is, he didn't pay more than 15 bucks for a single part. I guess that is also a part of the fun...

8. Here is an oil on canvas titled “The Abandoned” that I just finished. It will be auctioned at the 12th Annual Cruisin The Ridge car show in Joelton, Tn. This year. The photo is not the best, I had to take it with a camera phone.

Original version, and an alternate.

10. I've never commented on the FAS before. I creep every Friday, checking back constantly for updated art. There is a ton of amazing talent out here. It's really incredible

Anyways, since I switched jobs and moved into my new office 6 months ago, there is a section of one wall, next to my Car-N-Art poster, that I've kept blank. I've kept it blank because I've had a mental image of what I wanted to go there... an ant's eye view of the rear end of a roadster. I've just never had the cash to commission an artist to create a work of art to fill the spot.

Buick59, you nailed exactly what I've imagined, 5 days a week, for the past 6 months. Thank you. I love that picture!

11. Chris that is awesome...another great design!

Nice shots!!

I let the lab do my prints in sepia, it is some nasty chemical stuff to keep on hand and dispose of.

Well that contact information was a dead end.

I want to contribute to the Hot Rod Heritage art show at SEMA 2011. Does anybody know who I should contact for this? Please email info to [email protected]

I'm willing to beg. Just point to the right ass and I'll kiss it.

These Friday Art Shows get better each week!

I have a question for those of you who are submitting Photographs. Would you folks mind explaining how you got the shot? What kind of camera & lens, and what settings you used? That way those of us who are not as experienced as you can try our hand at it. Thanks, Harold

25. Mr. Thrash, Mr. Ramerez(sp?) isn't the only one who created a monster.
Ryan, I love the picture of your little tike!

Great show all, way too many to set now and point out so consider all of you part of what makes it such a honor to be associated with you... (as much as I'd like to single a few out...)

Here are some other sketches I did based on the same basic drawing but indevidual drawings each.. 3, 10-20 minute sketches with Chevys as the theme:

Totally overwhelming!! I think this may be the best FAS ever - at least since I have been viewing it. What an outpouring of talent and creativity.

Here are a few of mine from last weeks totally outstanding Starliner event and the garage crawl that preceded it. My apologies to those who have already seen these on my photo/coverage thread.
