thanks ! I don't know from where the oil pressure gauge come, but it's a vintage Stewart Warner unit. I wished to put it a little bit higher, but there is a square tube structure just behind the firwall at this place.

Some progress: New airfilters, using cheap chinish speedway air filters, by swapping the cheap chromed and louvered caps with some old french Citroen van's center wheel caps.

Still working on the wiring, using modern cable wrapped in old looking asphalt wire looms. Front & rear lights/turn signals are done, next step, fuse panel and dash wiring. I've started also to work on the dash, dash insert and instrumentation, switches, etc..

Front licence plate is now bolted ( with a Hamb topper), using a clamp system, so, no holes in the I beam.

adapted a licence plate light on the 50's Renault plate, also modified in order to bolt the great topper made by Whizzerick some years ago

    some progress !
First, on the exhaust sytem. The langdon split exhaust manifold is cool, but one of the outlet is just right on the steering box ! So, I decided to don't use a double line, and worked on this junction, in order to turn around the steering box, and run under the car. Here we go, with a 2 parts piece (easier to install).

and on the car, with a Smithy's muffler and a straight tube. Not sure if I will use the muffler, or just have a long tube and an intern baffle, will think about it. If I use the muffler, I just need to change a little bit the angle, to have the exhaust more in the car's axle...

and worked on some details, not always visible. I changed the hex bolts on the firewal to slotted ones, more "period". finished also the fuel line.

I made some brackets for the turn signals, made from 30's Renault fender lights (Front light are Citroen Traction).

Worked also on the door hinges. I don't have the original ones, and they are pretty rare. to be continued

I've chopped and streched a Citroen C4 windshield frame. I need now to create some winshield posts. But I don't realy like the car with a windshield, it's look really better without it. But the entire system will be easy to take off, so I will have several options (like also a english Brookland aeroscreen).

  29. Have a look at the windscreen posts on Caterhams - just cut from flat ally plate;

Home made door hinges done !

Then, I worked on a Hallock style windshield "sktech" to find a better way to have a windshield, because I wasn't happy with the classic windshield. So, it's just a rough test (here with photoshoped glasses), I need now to find the better line, height, and then make it larger, and have it aluminium cast...If you have some ideas or advices, Go ahead !
