BulletProof and Rashy do Drag Week....

Well we broke down in Great Bend. I guess the spragues in the Lenco broke and the rear end. We gave our best and had a blast and now coming home.

I made a video today. Driving a 55 chevy down the strip that hosted the first NHRA national meet in 1955. Fun stuff

The definition of cool would be , lack of right hand for much of the video and the calmness of grabbing that gear! Squirrell has done this rodeo a time or two........................

 

I rode the co-pilot seat in Squirrel's car for a stretch. It is so oddly smooth and fast. Itcs like doing 100+ mph,,, on a couch.

I took a short ride last night. I didn't want to bug Jim about getting a ride this morning because last night was a little wet. We had a little rainfall but nothing major.

I got in Jim's car and he took it down the road in front of the hotel and got on it a little. Then we got onto a bigger road and he got on it and the back started squirreling (no pun intended) around so he backed off. So we turned around and headed back. It's fast, that's for sure. I wish the roads were dry then I really would have gotten the full experience, but for what I got, I do have to thank Jim. It was fun!

We made two runs and were out of there at 10:30. It's a 403 mile route to Tulsa...

 

I got there right before y'all left then. I met up with Bob and Keith. As OT as it is, that Sick Seconds Camaro was pretty bad ass!

End of Drag Week race day 4. Posted a 12:12, best run yet. Down to two cars in our class and we are about dead even. It will be a shoot out between us and Westexasgasr in Topeka tomorrow.
