    Hey Pat I think you should by the top cowl section ,There pricey though ,No shame in that.I see them between 500 and 600 .Are you going to Macungie.....Sat

    fit the inner doors to a buddys roadster and it was a perfect fit! gonna try n knock out a skin today. trying to get motivated and rolling again.

    "Knock out a skin" ??? Is that what you call it ? If you would stop playing with your skin so much you might get the doors done !
     
  12. The skin looks great Pat! What's your process for making the beads? Is that just some plywood with a bead shaped slot cut out that you are hammering into? Or is it an actual bead shaped depression (with a bottom)?

    thanks! I use a bead roller most of the time. i make my own dies to the size of the original piece. the hard to reach places like the X's in the floor pan were hammerd out.
     
  16. Oh, ok got'cha. What size beads are those in the door skins? Like 1"?

    You should talk Bubba..Quit playin' with your "skin" so much and maybe we'll see your roadster out in the NEXT DECADE!..At the rate you get shit done Pat will be driving his handbuilt car before your 32' Henry gets put together!..LOL!

    Pat will probably be done with a handmade '34 5 window project before I get my lazy ass driving anything ! LOL.

    Hay Pat, Erick. The guy that gave you a ride to the air port. This looks really good. What type of bead roller are you using? also what type of material are you making your dies out of? Keep up the good work.

    Erick thanks so much for the ride. I just use a harbor freight roller and i reinforced it. and the dies i mill out of around 2'' round bar steel dont have to be anything fancy just plain old mild steel. thanks alot buddy
