1956 plymouth 277 thermostat?

i need one for my car. anybody know of a later engine that is compatible? carquest only goes back to '61. i don't have one to compare. thanks sick

 

The '61 one will fit
Its the same thermostat as any poly engine that ran from '56 through to '65/66 and I think its the same as an early LA 273/318

35Desota is correct....the 1956 277 became the 318 in 1957 and remained in the mopar line up until 1968 when the new 318LA motors took over...
