I have this old Model A that I run KH Bent spokes on, the car shakes around 60mph. I had these old wheels and tires from an old gasser in my garage so I thought I would bolt them on and try it out. The car runs much smoother and I know the big slicks have to go but I kinda like the wheels on the car, what do you guys think?

The Kelseys kick ass on the A-Bone, but I've loved small window Halibrands ever since I saw Neil East tool around San Gabe-Alh-Temple City in the Former Doane Spencer, Lynn Wineland 32 Highboy, which I still feel was the best L.A.Roadster Club Car perhaps because of those wheels,

I even hunted down a rear set before I even built our 1st deuce to be able emulate that stellar look. Now I need a front set ;). Run the Brands until you tire of the 50's look and then switch back to get it back to the earlier place in time look.

    Very cool car nonetheless!

Whats not to like??? It looks great either way...but I personally like the Halibrands...

  8. I think it looks good. There was a sweet black '32 roadster at the LSRU running halibrands and it fit the car perfect. Maybe someone has a pic of it. It was early 60's hot rod perfection.

I love Halibrands. If you need a pair of flat caps for the rear just let me know. The car looks great either way.

I agree with the others, the halibrands look good... When you replace the slicks I'd go back with a similar sized tire.

  12. Halibrands, don't change a thing! I can relieve you of the burden of those wires for my Deuce.

The beans belong on a Willys - I'll be really good sport and let you put them on mine so they don't look out of place....;)

Were mixing eras here, the car looks best with the wires IMO. If there was a HEMI in it then the Halibrands would match the era better.

I like both! Put the Halibrands on one side af the car and the wires on the other side and. You can have both! and Walla! No more sleepless nights thinking about it'

Halibrands look great but I would sell the rears and buy something a little more narrow, would make more sense.

I'm not gonna say on the wheels which looks best as it depends on the message your trying to get across . I do think the car would look better in my driveway though :)~

Either way but the small window Halibrands would be my choice. Now if you just "happen to have these sitting around" why not keep both sets and bounce back and forth between them depending on YOUR mood? We all should be so lucky...
