Here are some pictures from today,I was bummed this morning that my alternator craped out on me,after going to the show,I felt better.
Thanks for posting the pictures John;looks like the quality of the cars is still up there.I haven't been since it was at the Elks Club.Good to see a few familiar cars and faces.Glad Larry Hook is still driving the 32 and that looked like Steve Peirce admiring that black Deuce in #19.Also Richie Willet's old yellow 29a roadster just visible in one pic.Hope I can make it out for one more show anyway.
This car was displaying a Ty-Rods plaque at a local cruise in some months ago. It even made the cover of a local paper. Anyone know who it belongs to?
Just a few pics from Ty-Rods...well kind of. John had a carb problem on the way, so we pulled over and watched him sort it out. Pete-
WOW! Looks like something he'd come up with;Steve was always a little over the top. What is he using for a transfer case;a Syclone unit? That's about the only production unit I can think of that would work.Does he really have a Frankland Q/C up front? Never mind he probably does.lol I know with an AWD you need to use 2 slightly different final drive ratios to get it to work properly.I believe the Syclone uses a 3.73 in the rear and a 3.72 up front.Supposed to make it steer properly. If you see him around tell him I said hello and hope his adventures with TC are going well.
