They're still out there, too bad they are outside. The first T with the wire wheels has wood wheel front hubs, so look close to see if the wheels are worth saving, check the rear hubs too. The T chassis in other photos has an after market transmission, and maybe accessorie disk wheels, be sure they aren't just Chevrolet wheels adapted to a T. If you are into this for a 5 hour round trip, that adds to the investment/resale number. Saving stuff is always nice, but you won't retire on the deal that is for sure.

Whats the deal with the wood front hubs?

Aftermarket transmission worth anything? What is it?

    Not familiar with Pre-28 Fords

  10. thanks for sharing....don't know what their worth collectively - which is how I would buy them...BUT...I know it will take alot of effort to get them out....you'll also have to clean them up a little if you hope to get some good/better dollors for them...

What is a reasonable offer on the 1938 Ford Deluxe? Still has flathead in it unkonwn conidtion. Also has banjo wheel. What is the front and rear suspension parts worth?

  14. Prolly be worth your time to do a search in the HAMB classifieds for pricing guidelines. The prices on this stuff is what you can get for it, really.
The 38 ford sedan may be rusted beyond repair underneath...won't know 'till you pull it out and clean it up..same with most of the other stuff.
38 ford front suspension will prolly bring about 200-300 but if you part it out [providing the suspension isn't rusted beyond use] the spindles go for 150, wishbone should get 50-75, good steering box will sell ok for 75-100 and a straight axle should command 50-100 bucks if it's good. Spring 20-35 bucks if it's not worn out.
Rear axle assembly is worth 100-150 or so..none of these prices are written in stone and some parts of the US gets more for their old ford stuff...specially east and west coast.
The front sheetmetal and stainless trim from the 38 is gonna be worth more than the hard parts...a good 38 front clip [hood, fenders and inners] will sell for 400-500 if it's complete and nice.
The old chevy stuff [with wood inner structure] is not going to sell for as much as ford parts. I'd be happy to get 150-200 for the chevy tub as it's not complete and when cleaned up will probably find rust and missing parts....
I have no idea on the T-parts...not familiar with that stuff.
    Hope this helps...

Besides the A coupe, the shithouse seems to be in better shape than anything else. I see it chopped with a big ass blower.

I agree, I would let the rest of the stuff "rust in peace"--- too much work for too little return.

The first picture has an early cowvette on the right side of the picture, might bring big money for the right person.

you need to convince the owner to let you help him get these cars into the hands of people that will use them instead of letting them rot away
