Im building a 41 plymouth and we are going to chop the top for sure, but have been thinking about a subtle section job also to get a long low look, any picts and comments are appreciated...........HELLVIS

Not a car and I dont remember how to post pics at this point, however my 49 AD is chopped and mildly sectioned (4" chop 2.5" section) I'ma huge fan of the tastfully done sections....too much and it looks squashed...the one right above me....JUST RIGHT!

Your 41 ply mouth will look great sectioned. It is a ton of work but well worth it when finished. It slims up the fat tall body that after a chop it just adds class to the overall appearance. i sectioned my half Airflow /half 48 chevy fleetline 3 inches and haven't regretted it one bit. I suggest don't go too far with yours,3 or 4 inches usually looks good, any more will look weird. To see what it will look like I cut down pictures before I start. These sharp computer guys on the Hamb might photo chop it for ya if you ask.

Hey thanks man. The Cadi is sectioned in a pie cut or wedge cut. It starts at 4 inch's in the rear and tapers down to 2 1/4 in the front. The idea was to get the ass end way down and a little nose high in the front. A lot of Kustoms with air ride lose the traditional stance. We wanted to be low but still have a little attitude.

Your Plymouth will be bad ass without a doubt. Everytime I see Farmer12's ride I start to drool.

Wow CHOPCARS what a awesome piece of metal artwork. The back half of the car looks like water drops on a freshly waxed hood at speed. Very cool ! Who ever built this is a real metal craftsman with style. So whats the story?
