So a friend of mine wanted to take some photo using different exposures but had no subjects to play with. I being a quick thinker said how bout my Rivi ? So we agreed to meet on Labor Day and find a couple of spots. These are the results and I have to say I'm impressed. He is a amateur and has not had that long behind the lens but wow these are some really good pictures. Let me say the car is not a great black car to shoot, older paint and I live on gravel road so it looks better in the pic's than in real life. Seeing how well these turned out I am going to have him shoot some of my Model A also. Let me hear some feedback what do you think ? Other than it needs to be lowered 3" and better wheels and tires !! Thanks Lumpy
Way more better with pics. Yep still too tall, but nice little car. By the way, I asked my buddy with the blue twin to yours about the hot steering column thing and he has never noticed it on his. Hmmm.... -Abone.
Thought his was a 64 ? I think its a 63 thing and you can fix it by insulating the bottom of the column. Lumpy
For an amateur, your friend seems to be developing a pretty good eye for this stuff. A nice variety of shots and it looks like you've got some great backgrounds to shoot against. And of course the car itself is not too shabby either! But half the reason these shots look so dramatic is because they look to have been shot during the "Golden Hour", either the first hour after sunrise or the last hour before sunset. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_hour_(photography) Now I'm curious as to if he shot intentionally at that time or if it was just a coincidence.
Yep he said let's do it about sunset for lighting. I noticed the windows looking at them and will change that next time. Thanks Lumpy
Just a few quick pics of the car now lower a bit and wheels and tires Lumpy Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
