    Hey Jet,

How is the 56 setup? Engine, Tranny, Front Suspension? Looks good.

Thirty years ago I put a Grand Torino sub frame on the 56. It has a 302 with AOD trans. I recently put new lower rear springs & lowered shackles. It's my every day driver.

That is to cool and done the way I like with a FOMOCO frame sub. My 55' has a 87' Crown Vic Sub with 302 and AOD. Sweet. Really like your truck

After over a year in the body and paint shop (do not have the skills nor the room), finally got the HRT off the jack stands yesterday and rolled it into the sunshine.

Still got some more finishing and adjusting to do but should be ready to fire up end of next week. About 95% assembled.

Ah, to hear the rumble of a BBF again.

  27. Hi Frank, The '56 F-100 is built on a '78 Chev truck frame and has the stock '78 front disc/drum combo. It has a full frame hitch. The truck also has an electric brake brake controller. It has a 383 crate hi-torque motor, huge aluminium radiator with twin electric fans, Built Turbo 350 with a high stall and a 10 bolt rear end. Rear air bags & shocks for load adjustment.
