Hey guys my name is Trenton Hernandez and I am firefighter with for the City of Taylor Fire Department and a member of the Thunderbolts CC. On September 11, 2011 this will be the 10yr anniversary of the darkest day in American history. So, in memory of our fallen brothers and sisters and the thousands of innocent people that perished on the fateful day. We are honoring them with a memorial march and a service. With the march starting at 9am. Heading down Main Street to the Taylor High School and memorial service after. There will also be games for the kids and a car show. The car show will be free to enter. Also there are no prizes for the car show. This is just an opportunity to get out your custom car or truck and drive them and honor those who passed. Please RSVP by September 5, 2011. You can contact me at 512-635-5513 or email me at [email protected]. You can also contact Anita Jones at 512-352-6992 or email her at [email protected]. Thanks and hope to see you there!
Trenton Too far away from me, but cool idea. Thanks for honoring the firefighters and police that gave all they had.
Thanks man! Wish you could make it. That is two things that I'm passionate about, my career as a firefighter and hotrods!
Trenton, If you have any fliers for this show, You might want to bring them to the swap meet in Giddings and pass them out. Couldnt hurt.
Another bump for ya Trent! I'll be there in the Willys. If I leave now, I might make it there by 9:15. Is it safe to assume that the meet up spot is at the Highschool parking lot, or are you guys meeting up early at Billys to cruise over there? -Chris
Thanks guys! If someone from the Malcontents can call me 512-635-5513 I will hopefully have better directions on which way will be the best to come in. Thanks and if anyone else wants to come and join please feel free to call me.
I am sorry but I am not gonna make it. I am trying to help out the fire victims with a show here to help get their minde off what they are going thru.
