I'm a resto-rod guy, but you've rescued this coupe. Craftsmanship is obvious....gotta love the 30's mopars...chop looks just right.

I love the early 30s mopars! Seems liike everybody has a Ford so color me different!

  3. nice! Very nice...If I'd been able to find a decent 33-34 mopar coupe I wouldn't be building my 34 ford coupe. Love the lines..'specially the slanted 1/4 windows. They look totally cool with or without fenders...long, flowing fenders. Reminds me of a cross between a skinny fendered car and a fat fendered car. Very gracefull.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It's on the ground, and as soon as we have the front end assembled and it's on all four of it's own wheels (roller) I'll take some more photographs and post them. I'll start building headers after we get the steering in and the firewall fabricated and in.

ok can you guys confirm this distributor.. is not so great under wet conditions? if that's true, seems silly to run one? unless you live in the desert

We'll have to take some photographs soon. We're building the firewall right now. We'll get that done and get them up here.

Wet conditions? I'm pretty sure they owner isn't going to drive the velocity stack Stromberg 48's in a downpour. The slicks would suck for that too. LOL

Seriously though, most dizzy's have problems in the rain via bad caps, bad wires, wrong type of wires, etc. GMC BUBBA could chime in I'm sure he could give you a million reasons too.

'33 and '34 Mopar coupes are the best looking cars out there, they look chopped from the factory! This car is going to be fantastic.

We build our cars carrying the hoops, so they look natural when they are! ;)

Everyone that stopped by at Autorama, thanks for the kind words. It'll be at Chicago World Of Wheels this weekend if you are there.

    Here's another shot:

  22. My '34 was parked by this thing at Autorama so I had plenty of time to eye this thing all weekend.

    The chassis is INCREDIBLE!!!

Talked with Dane and Rocket for a while too. Good guys with tons of talent.

Progress is on/off on the coupe, working on the floors and firewall. We finally found a decklid after searching for two years. Trying to find the right grille for it, like a '32 Studebaker or something similar.

But Kevin and I did take it up to Murray Pfaff's Rears and Gears in Detroit a couple weeks ago. Good times!
