    cool build good to see. we can't go this crazy here in oz. i like the way you re-shaped the rear fenders for the wheel tubs very subtle.

    Nice work, I'm in the process of chopping my mother's 47 series 75 4 door caddy. I wish I had your rear fender's and tail lights. "A ton of welding" your right, but soo worth the look!

    other than the starter bolt backing out on me,GREAT. REALLY fun to drive. I problaly have close to 8000 miles on her now. My new job will limit that .

    Nice to see it going together, James. I was hoping J would stay here in the shop we were in together so I could watch the Caddy coming together, as well as trying to help and learn. I am thankful for the time I had with him to learn all that I did, he's quite the craftsman. Looking forward to his coming back to hang the doors on my '36 Buick.

    lookin good man have you thought about a 49 buick rear bar it does not go as high as the caddy at the rear but is the correct shape for the rear pan. heres a few pics...

    gday james,
    slow waitin to get it blasted the shocks are being built as we speak and just gettin all my bits and pieces to get the bags and front end sorted.
    yours is lookin sweet buddy, i'm interested to see how the chev bar is going to work, it might need a bit of love to get it right but i think that your up to the task....
    and anyway the buick bar is way to easy...........

    Your 49' is going to be one sweet ride when you finish. When I see where yours started and far you have progressed it only inspires me to get my ass in gear and finish mine. Keep the pic's comin. Great job!
