I've always enjoyed collecting and repairing antique telephones, radios and jukeboxes. After attending the Carlise and Hershey events for years I finally jumped in and purchase a 1934 Ford Coupe and spent the next 5 years restoring it back to original condition. I sold the coupe and bought an old LT-1 Corvette. I knew about a 1957 Buick Special in my area but could never meet the owner and he wouldn't return my messages. For years I watch the car slowly deteriorate. Finally one day his truck was in the driveway and I knocked on the door, met the owner and discussed the car. He said it was his fathers and he planned on restoring the car but decided to now sell. I tried to get my friends to purchase the car but they were all scared of their wives reactions. I couldn't stand it any longer so I bought it and got alot of grief from my wife but she's been here before. I've got the car running great and I'm now addressing the sheet metal issues. I do expect my local chrome plater to add me to his will or a free trip to the Bahamas by the time I'm done. I've already received help from a few members, you guys are great and I look forward to our future relationships. Thanks, Barry
