What time does this thing usually start? I'm going to school in Golden now and have always wanted to check the cruise out.
We usually get there around 6ish, cruise the LeMans back and forth a couple of times then park it somewhere eat and watch the cars go by. It's a good time!
It'll start at noon...or whenever they arrive...there's always a few that need to get there early to power park... R-
Spend a lot of time in Golden, I watch the power parkers unload from their trailers then hide the trailer all the time. One of them really makes me laugh... 66 Fairlane we call mr. bench. Fastest car that's never been down the track. Just ask him. But most of them are real, drive in and hang out. Some really neat stuff shows up.
Haha There seems to be a few of those! It was a good time and the weather was right tonight! Next time it'd cool park and talk cars with you guys.
Heard there were a lot of cars. Weather permitting, I should be out in October. Maybe the HAMB'ers should pick a place to meet.
Hey 2ton! There were lots of cool cars! How about meeting in front of the Philly Cheese Steak joint across from the hs?
Yeah, Colfax is tonight, Golden isnt till October! Golden is always the 1st saturday of the month. But I'm all for picking a HAMB meeting spot, I know theres a lot of us that go
Golden cruise night is Oct. 1. Does any one have friends who own or work at a watering hole, restaurant, or prime parking area we can all meet up at?
I know nobody of influence, but I'm all for some of us meeting up. Hopefully sort out my issues in my Ford, otherwise you've gotta deal with my Toyota!
Just because you drive a Toyota doesn't make you a bad person!!! Lol JW caddy: Philly Cheesesteak is a great location with good food! We usually get down there between 5:30 & 6. Ill be driving my Silver '72 Pontiac LeMans with the big exhaust and a fat cam. What are you cruising?
I and the girl will be there around 6ish, in the black toyota tundra with blue pinstriped flames on the sides and rat fink on the tailgage. I'll keep an eye out for any of ya, or pm me for my cell #
To the rest of you............There really are some traditional style hot rods and customs in Colorado, in spite of what you might think. Huh, RAJ?
yeah, lots of super nice megabuck rods, some well thought out low buck rods, great traditionals and of course death rats galore. Golden is a great chance to see everything there is and it cruisies by you as you sit and watch.
The cheesesteak place in the strip mall across from the HS? I might be out in my Fairlane, my kids may bring the other cars as well. Not sure what time though, working today.
Will be in the brown 53 ford customline and hope to see the caddy bros down there. Wish I was in Long Beach today for that sweet show. Love those kustoms!!!!!! Sun goes down pretty early anymore in Golden so get there early
