Last night I finished the art work for the trophy cans. This could be the art work for the poster,
but I'm working on five other ideas...

I was telling everyone that I could about the Starliner last week at the Blacktop Nationals, met a couple of cool folks with rides that will fit in perfectly, hopefully they show up!

 

I hope we have a good turn out. I dont no how many fliers i got out but i kept dad busy makin more copies. Cant wait wish it was this weekend.lol

I was in Colorado Springs last week. As we were leaving Saturday morning the 48 Chev High School Confidential car came up behind me on 25. It looked super cool pulling up behind and then going around. He was at the Starliner last year. You guys roll some nice rides!

Whew, I thought I was losing it! Sweet, sweet ride!

 

Talked to Shane last weekend. He is getting ready to repaint in the near future. The current color had a tinting error. His next will be closer to his vision.

Thanks for the kind words. Please come up and visit us at the Starliner and we can at least exchange numbers so next time ur in the springs we can have breakfast since thats where Shane was headed. We meet every Saturday, cause after all we're really an eating club with a car problem.

Jeff and I are working on an old car we found to bring to the show..... can't wait to see the guys from Colorado....

 

Cooker on site, shop cleaned out , cars all run (surprise) tour maps at the printers, heading to walmart for charcoal, plates ,eating tools and fixin's. Picking up all the tables and chairs friday morning, Travis will be in on thursday, meeting with Mic thursday night , damn this is fun. Get to clean the shop once a year!

 

Is it this weekend? If so we are ready got the trophies done last night, finishing up the
posters and I may have some time to work on some other art work.

The weather is going to be purrfect for the show. we should have a record turnout this
year. I'm expecting 33 cars (I mean entries which includes the planes)this year Koool!!

Since Dennis truck was in primmer we had fun coming up with a color. Hhhummmm?

Johnny Hammond called me this weekend and he is one of the koolest guys that I know.
I'm surprised that kool guys from Wichita call me. I don't even owe them any money, I
think? Johnny told me that Dennis rode with Johnny in his 58 to the first Spectacular.
Man, how kool would have that been. I wish that we could replay that day, I was there

and that was the day that I was really bit by Kustoms.
