Labor Day whatzit?

    I'm not going to pretend that this part is traditional, ol'school, or any thing else because frankly I don't have a clue. It gives the appearance of a brake part, but the inlet/outlet is 1/8", and instead of a double flair 'bead' it has swedge sleeves to seal the tube. 3-3/4" in length (including bleeder), 1-3/16 flat to flat. I have not tried to dissemble it past what is shown in the pix. There is a very faint "Made in USA Pat Pend" stamp on the bottom surface. The only other marking is a double "RM" on the feral nuts. Its' a very nicely turned out piece. Its' been a box of junk under this desk for at least 32 years if that helps.

    It looks like a water bleed off Valve for an air compressor

    My guess would be for use in hydraulic system as a dampner/shock absorber..Just a guess..

    One more time... Part not listed in the standard catalog of thermo-entabulators
