I have been trying to get this car for years , It's real rough. I am normally pretty sure of my self, but this is gonna be a tough cookie. Feel free to bash me if this is a pos .Long story short, its not costing me much cash just time and 2 tons of rock to replace the car to prevent washouts!

Ok so I know of a set of 1935 fenders will they work to replace the 36 fenders and still use the 36 grill ? I am not gonna get to this project for a while but you gota get what you can when you can!

I'll honestly have to say it looks better than the 35/6 Five window I have been eyeballing.

If it was an orphan four door sedan I might not think the same but some models like a 36 five window are worth saving even if they need more than a little bit of work. A couple loads of rocks for a coupe sounds like a pretty good trade.

Anyone who bashes you is an idiot...............its a '36 Ford Coupe!!! Awesome score.

  5. A lot of +'s there. All garnish, latches, regulators, and very important, a start on a pair of rear fenders.

Lot of 4 door donors out there for parts to fix a coupe.

'35 front fenders are totally different, you would need a complete '35 clip.

You said you're not in a hurry, take your time, evaluate what you have, and watch for deals on what you need.

I think it doesn't look to bad. It looks fairly solid. What are you plans for the car? Keep the pictures coming.

It's got a steering wheel, how bad can it be?

Seriously, it's a good start, you've got the hard to get rear guards (fenders) a boot lid (trunk) will be a little harder to find, once you have a donor four door things will look a little easier.

You've got yourself a good deal there, and bravo to you for taking on this challenge. Anyone who thinks to go the 'bash' is not worth the time of day, so easily ignored.

    Good luck

Thanks for all the congratulations, There are several other cars there but its taken me a long time to get this one, most of the other cars are way gone - 2 37 ford tudors that well make this look cherry, a 59 chevy 4 door a 41 ford tudor, a 56 ford p/u cab - a 40 dodge cab - the rest of these are unfortunatlly gonna stay there until the current landowner no longer has a say in it.( he's a nice old farmer but has little intrest in our hobby. )

Oh I got it. It's in my yard right now! Waiting for a new hydrolic pump for my forklift to unload it with! Oh did all 5 windows have a roll down back window in 1936? This one does.

:D Yeah that's pretty much the plan for now :D I drove by it the otherday and saw aan old oil tank rolled up aganst one of the 37 tudors there and realized the folks that live there were running equipment there and moving iron around _ I thought to my self I'll give it one more try befor that 36 gets ruined. Paid off! Last year I got the 36 ford bed that's on my 41. At the time the owner ssaid he would not sell the 36coupe. Gald I gave it one more shot!
