Another New Guy

Hello my name is Mike and I'm from Louisiana. I have always been into customs cars and trucks since my brother got me hooked with his 67 Chevy P/U when I was 10. I recently picked up a 54 Chevy 150 out of Chicago last December (In -8 freakin degrees).

This is my first post but I have been looking on this site for a while and it has been the most helpful on the web by far! I picked up all of my parts so far from Alex Gambino for my bag setup and sheet metal from EMS. Alex is a super cool and helpful guy. Anyway thats me

What are the plans for the chevy?

 

It just going to be an everyday beater. I'm keeping the stock 235 for now and the stock rear end. I have the frame out now finish welding it and all the suspenion components broken down to put POR15 on everything this weekend. I'm hoping the temp will be below 100 this weekend.

Believe me I know. My work has slowed down considerably since the first of July since I don't have a shop. Only 97 Saturday for the painting but Sunday was 103 without the heat index! So needless to say nothing got reassembled LOL!!
