Wheel Well cleaning advice.

Hello Gentlemen.

I want to start with, This is my 1st attempt at restoring a car. Any advice would be great! I am taking my wheels off the car and sending them to powder coat. With the wheels off i want to take the time to clean the wheel wells. At this point its more dirt and minor surface rust that i have to deal with. Is there any special cleaners, primers and paints/coats that you guys feel work best?

Any advice would be helpful.

Got it. I looked into the purple power. Does anyone have any suggestions on what paint or process i should follow?
