I might have located a frame locally I could use on a project. Does anybody know the weight of a bare 1959 Cadillac sedan X-frame? Or, in other words, how many people it will take to put it on the truck?

Unless you are building a 59 Caddy I'd pass on that one. Honestly before you go further look in the chassis parts catalogs and price the parts to rebuild the front end. I've seen more than one guy restoring one of those just about have a heart attack when he sees the price of all the parts and pieces to rebuild the front end.

Weight wise I'd say the bare frame probably weighs 400 US lbs. add 200 if it has the complete front suspension and another 200 if it has the rear end under it.
