    hi all,
well its 5 weeks til the 'chopped' show here in australia and i want to run my roadster in the dirt drags:D
so after a few years in the build its time to have a red hot crack,
the plan is to have a drivable frame with the body on,
there's Alot to do and i may have unreal goals but ya got to try,
so today with the help of fellow kardinal gareth we bare metaled the frame so i can box it this week, boxing plates are all made up and ready to go,
the motor (39 merc) is going to be the biggest task, its being hot tanked and crack tested at the moment, still to finish the port work then back to the shop before coming home for my first ground up engine build:eek:
here's a few pic to show where i'm at, i'll try to up date every few days, wish me luck.rob

nyloc nuts might be a good go, as usually every first drive has something fall off. Plus that dirt track isn't 'smooth' either. Will miss the debut but I reckon you can make it easy, your just going to have to make sure you have 4 things on the go at once so you don't get held up.

I always find when it comes to making a deadline that its a glitch with the supply of something that throws a spanner in the works, so my suggestion would be try and get everything you think you need this week and draw up on a piece of A1 paper a big arsed list and stick it up in the garage, just helps to jog your memory on whats next.

course you can do it, will wait for the updates.

    good luck.

Do you have a small jack to get into the diff centre, thats what it takes to get em out.
