It was my first time there this year. the place is awesome. your video is right on. I helped a friend as a pit crew member. he brought a car back to life that raced there from the 50's to the 70's. everyone is so helpful and giving. they would give you the shirt off their back to help a fellow racer. nothing like it no egos or attitudes. it was a bucket list item and now I am hooked. thanks great video!

Bonneville was on my Dads bucket list.
A few years ago I found out when speed week was, called his boss and got him that week off.
I drove from Florida to Pennsylvania and picked him up and went out.
It was something we will never forget, the time together and the amazing people that were there.
This video is spot on!

I think we need to do it it again!!!

But I hope he he is dead WRONG, when he says this may not be here for our grandchildren. My 11 year son is already designing a car for Bonneville when he is old enough to drive, I want the salt to be there for him and his kids!

Awesome video. I went to the flats this year for the first time and I'll be there again next year for sure! Thanks for posting.

 

Haven't been there yet but definitely looking forward to it, one day. The cars, people, camaraderie, atmosphere and the venue itself.

Thanks for all of the compliments guys. Bonneville is an event that brings out the best people and I am thankful I was able to shoot an episode out there.

 

I never thought of it, but when that was spoken I went uh-oh, he is so right. All it will take is a bug up some environmentalists ass to start the anti-salt flats racing crusade.

This racing event needs some sort of historical preservation of right to run to ensure it's continued existence.
