Second that H.T. It's been a rough three months at the Salty residence...I can't wait for the weather to cool down and life to get back to normal....

Hopefully we'll be able to hook up at the turkey run this year eh?

Good to see your still giddy about your 32....you deserve it.

Thought I'd touch base with you guys and let you know I took the old girl out today. I was asked by a friend of mine to show up at a local show. Was a good day and she still looks good for her age.

I really need to drive this wonderful coupe more often, life just keeps getting in the way. After one year she has only seen 1000 miles on her tires. That's guna change.....

I don't want to hijack WT's thread but thanks a lot, I've changed the engine to a Chrysler 392 and a few other little things since that photo was taken.

  24. David, Brenda told me the other day she was ready for me to start another build, maybe we should do a build off, lol. I'm thinking something custom leadsled looking thingaofabobber, you know, long and low.
Sure do miss you buddy, don't see you round here much anymore, so lets crank it up and build something.

I somehow failed to subscribe to this thread and was wondering how it turned out - good to see it resurface.

  26. Amazing! There are no words for what you did and the level of quality. Gotta ask, when you cut grass, do you use a scissors and cut one blade at a time for the most perfect lawn?
Seriously, I'm glad this thread showed up again as I had never seen it. Spent all evening admiring your work.

I've been thinking about doing that for a few years with my 34. I'm thinking the glue they use for body panels nowadays would probably hold well. Does SAR sell a skin by itself? Already louvred? I had a budy build me an aluminum firewall and roll pan and they turned out neat, I think
