Trend Books Custom Cars Annual 2012

If you love customs, you'll dig getting your hands on a copy.

The entire 128 page publication is wall-to-wall customs and put together by a young guy, Justin Kudolla, who is a true die-hard fan of anything custom. This guy puts his heart & soul - and his own pocket money - into putting this book out there for others who have the same affliction and I guarantee he's not making 'bank' off it - he does it for love.

There's not a lot of publications out there that are just for customs, so have a look and support a guy's efforts to keep the re-birth of the custom car scene rolling forward.

p.s. I am not affiliated with the publication, so this ain't spam - just a heads up.
Ok...my car is in there, so I'm proud o that....but really...I think you'll dig the book.

  2. Just ordered the 2012 and the 2009 that also available. They take PayPal and combined shipping charge. They look exactly like the original 50's and 60's books.
Looking forward to getting them both.

What?? your car is painted now - how did I miss that?
    Looks killer!

p.s. If you liked the 2009 version, you'll really like the 2012 - it is a big leap forward in layout style & content (especially cause my car's in there ha, ha).

Met the young man that does these. He is amazing. Does the pics, the writing, the layout...everything himself. And he does it with his own money...and he's not a rich fellow...I think he told me he manages a Pizza Rest. by day. Definitely worth the money! Sure to be collectable!

Justin is a great guy, and the 2012 Trend annual is the real deal. The guy knows what he is talking about, and he is well worth supporting!

Got the 2009,must order the 2012. Justin does put his heart and soul into it. When he put my car in the 2009 he hand delivered the book to my house when passing through Denver, how cool is that? Thanks for the heads up.

We have very few magazines dedicated to kustoms and I'm thrilled that I received my
book today. Does every body have their copy? If your into kustoms, you should have
    this in your library.

    Happy Trails, Mick

Was there a 2010 and 11 that is sold out?

  25. Hi Miles,

I was looking at the thread and noticed your response/question. Sorry I didn't notice it sooner! The 2012 Annual was supposed to be the 2010 Annual. I had been working on it and thought I had it on track to be done in December of 2010. Well, I was working 80 hours a month average on it, and still didn't get it done until June of this year. At that point 2010 and half of 2011 was over, so I thought my best bet would be to put the 2012 year on it, and then I would be ahead, instead of perpetually behind. I really didn't want to do that, because I thought it would look odd to have a gap in there, especially for an "Annual," but that seemed to be the best solution after thinking about the pros and cons of each. Hopefully now I should be able be on track for getting those out on a more timely manner. It takes a long, long, time to do this stuff. The 2012 Annual took about 850 hours, the 2009 Annual took probably 3 times that amount. I have a regular job also, so it takes a while!

Thanks everyone for your comments and support, I'm glad that you like them, and I'll keep them coming!

I've got some well worn issues out of the early 60's stashed away. I think they cost either .75 or 1.25 then.
