Anybody out on the left coast actually seen the chopped 47 Cadillac that Barry Weiss sometimes drives on "Storage Wars"? The few shots I've seen, it looks pretty cool. I heard it was in a music video also (Outcast, Roses)?

Who built the car, driveline, etc. Stu

Frank DeRosa built car like others Barry has owned. It is as radical as it gets. One of the most uncomfortable rides I have ever been in and I have been in my share but still a blast to cruise around in esp when Barry is piloting. Have seen that car evolve from when he first got it. Its pretty insane. Mostly a piece of art in my opinion. Definately form over function.

Who is this Barry Wise character? He sure seems to be having a really good time. I like people who don't appear to take things too seriously,
    way less stress!

That Cadillac was built by Frank DeRosa many many years ago.

Since the age of 15, Barry has made a name for himself as an antique collector. Now at the tender age of 60, Barry dives headfirst into the world of storage auctions. A Robert Evans-meets-Jack Nicholson type, Barry thinks these auctions are a good place to make a buck. For Barry, buying is a hobby, but one at which he is very proficient. His wealth of knowledge extends from classic cars to war relics, and everything in between. Barry is always looking for an out-of-the-box approach to get one up against his competition. Whether it’s bringing psychics to an auction, or night vision goggles, Barry lacks no shame in his outlandish tactics. Look to Barry for the great one-liners; he’s never one to bite his tongue.

  25. It looks like the old Derosa car with the Mercedes head lights. Rags

He's on a show called storage wars, IMO he's the comic relief. The first pic is barry (white and black shirt) and theres also another guy on that show that bears a striking resemblance to our own Groucho.:p

As Stu-D-Baker was hinting, you can see him on the storage wars shows. He sometimes shows up in the caddy. I agree the headlights are mercedes benz.

I didn't know about the red coe until this post.

  29. Can't explain why I like this car so much just do. I think it makes me think of what Herman Munster would drive today if was still around. Someone has got to have more details about the car.
