November 1955, The Slow Poke car club's dream of running a organized drag strip has come true. Joe Carrell's 49 Ford sits on the starting line of the all dirt dragstrip.
The Slow Poke gang will reunite Friday night Sept.2 during Ardmore Dragway's Hot Rod Reunion. Come out and meet the founders of Ardmore Dragway and enjoy drag racing the way they did it!

Not only does the reunion bring out the best nostalgia racers in the country, it also is filled with top line show cars. Eugene Riottes 62 pontiac S/D was only 1 of 88 ever made. It was a factory Hot Rod and scored 390 out of 400 at a recent show in Kentucky.
