I went to look a a 51 Victoria today and the lady gave me a steering wheel that I asked about hope someone on here can let me know what its from.
I'll name it George hey thats like a name that could never end..Georgeorgeorgeorgeorge, sorry got carried away
It looks a lot like a 58-59 Lincoln wheel. But I will name him George, and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him...
Not a 60 Lincoln for sure.. I have one and while it's close, it ain't the same. I was also thinking Oldsmobile before I finished reading the thread.
I concur. The 57-58 Lincoln is soooo similar but it does not have the chrome bits on the wheel near the spokes
Glad you got it pinned down hope you had a sense of humor too, just razzing ya some but i still think you should name it george
'66-'67 Toronado http://www.automobilemag.com/featur...6_1966_1967_oldsmobile_toronado/photo_01.html If it was mine, I'd name it Leno.
That looks a lot like the '60 Lincoln wheel I used on my chopper bicycle when I was a kid. It was taupe & ivory colored.
Had one in my F-100 & in my 40 olds plus have got 2 of them hanging in my shop. Got all of them out of the donor cars my self. Its a 66 toro.
My thought too............got one at my shop.......wheel/column that is, not the whole toro. I'll have to go take a closer look at it, but I'd bet a dollar without looking that you are correct. Ray
