Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by sergioperez78, Aug 18, 2011.

  1. Hi you all!

Question: are these original 1942 Willys headlight bezels?

    Thanks in advance,

    Sergio

These are correct and available as reproductions from www.willysreplacementparts.com

What you have are aftermarket Electroline lights as commonly used on Willys gassers in the 1960s.

  4. Sorry to say...no...they are after market seal beam type, or possibly Ford type of that era. "41 & '42 bezels for Willys are the same...and have a reflector and bulb set up.

Weasel, as always, you have the proof right at hand!

Those are the commonly accepted pieces that allowed for converting to sealed beams. Not Ford, usually part of a kit from J.C. Whitney (among others). Typically they are a cast piece (pot metal). They can be painted or polished.
