my current one is on my glovebox via a magnet i glued to the back of it. the rest are on the door of my shop fridge.
As of right now it's displayed in the living room next to the TV. But only until a couple of months when the chopped truck is done. Then it'll be on the firewall
I glue magnetic sheets to the back of mine so I can attach them to anything metal (tool box, shop fridge, glove box door, etc). Here's my collection of tags and decals. Jim
That's a pretty good idea for those (like me) who can't make up their mind. I want to put it on my firewall but it's a closed hood car.
Got mine in the mail today and was going to put it on my Model A firewall to replace the old one but it had a big scratch across it. The envelope it came in was perfect. So now it goes on the shelf. Bummer
I hear ya, got mine today too, with a scratch across the bottom of it. I'm just glad to get it. Wish they would get some more tag toppers made. I sent an e-mail to Ryan about it but no reply yet.
The note that came with mine says it was stamped on the same machine that was used by the SCTA to stamp timing tags in the late 1940's. How cool is that? No flat spots on my dash, and I hated to bury it under the hood on the firewall where no one but me would see it, so I did this:
