I know.....the one on the right is a dollar! I'm talking about the one on the LEFT!

    And how about these?

Any (constructive) assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The spears look like there off of a 60 Ford rear quarter panel. Or not.

  3. Yup, Im sure the speears are 60 Ford, the other thing looks 64(ish) Ford?

  4. Those little wing-like pieces look like the quarter panel trim pieces from a 1959 Ford Custom 300. I believe there were 3 or maybe 4 on each quarter depending on the model......Don.

First one is Captain America's cup...

The proto-type Provisionary Testicular apparatus made from Vibranium-Adimantium alloy.

Other than that, Ive got nothing.. Looks cool though. Second one Reminds me of the side trim to a early 60's or late 50's chevy but I know its not even close

The first one could be from a canadian styled trim?? or ausie? Ive seen some similar stuff that resembles our US trim but is changed just a tad to make it similar but different..

    Thanks,

  8. Do you have a pic of these on a '60 Ford? I can't find one on Google Images....

  9. Yup, it's close, but the "wing" are not as thick.....Thought maybe a year earlier or later, but can't find anything.

    Anyone else????

  10. Vividly, These are about half the size of the 60 Chevy "jet"....maybe someone is building a half-size Kustom. :D

That would be interesting.. I really dig that first one. Almost has an art deco touch to it. Like dash trim from a mid 30's plymouth or something..

    Thanks,

The trim in the top of the second picture is probably off a Ford car. Part of me says 60's but it could be '52-up too.. Not sure.

I have one just like that but without the 6 little circle pieces on top. I've been wondering about mine too. Not sure what it came off of but my educated guess comes from the fact that this trim was a part of a large pile of Ford products my dad bought for '49-'60's Ford cars.

There are a couple minor differences but they seem to have come from the same make.

Are you sure they are automotive?

Maybe off a classic boat - or an art deco toaster?

That one piece that is hollow for a plastic emblem looks like a hood emblem for a '62 Fairlane.

What are the casting numbers on the back?

    It should say something like"

    C2OB or something.

The other bird looking emblems should have casting numbers on the back as well.

The first piece reminded me of an old Dodge pickup. Don't know why....

I think Maverick's right about that shield surround: Looks like '65 wagon. (not fullsize pickup, I think they're 'beefier'...)

Those little jets on that '59 Ford match up pretty good. (but why aren't they flying in 'formation'? Probably been set single file in honor of this administration...)

    Alright.

The C5AB mean it is a 1965 Fullsize ford trim.

The C0AB means it is a 1960 Ford trim.

brett.. still think pontiac.. I doubt with the two screws on teh reverse that its a crank hole cover. most crank hole covers have some sort of spring steel clip to hold them in..

maybe some sort of 37-38 pontiac???
