Sold my Roadster, Bought a Roadster

Well I guess I might as well let the cat out of the bag. A while back I decided I wanted to put my black fendered 31 roadster up for sale, so I could fund a roadster build. I was going to build a 30/31 on deuce rails. I had the body, frame and pretty much everything. I was at my brothers house (Chris here on the H.A.M.B.). He said he was thinking about selling his 29 AV8 Roadster project and wanted to know if I would be interested. I said yes, but figured he was just blowing smoke up my ass. A couple weeks went by and by this time my fendered roadster has sold. My brother called me at work in a panic. He asked if I wanted to buy his roadster still. I said yes and asked when he needed the money. He said immediately. I figured he got in a bind with the East Coast Mafia or something? Really he had just found a super bitchen 41 convertible that he had to have. I went home "sick" from work to go get cash. I couldn't get to the bank fast enough!
Looks like it worked out good for everyone. I got a roadster I have always loved, my bro got a super cool convert (he has been looking for one of these for years), Tom (Toast) in Oklahoma got the fendered roadster (and plans to put a deck lid back on it), and my friend, fellow Emperor Josh (Mr. Gasser) finally got a roadster body.

For the record just how many HAMB members have owned that Black Roadster? It changes hands more often than 1932 Ford Coupes are found. That '29 is another good looking car, have fun with it. Bob
