Any recommended casting companies?

    Looking for a casting company that can re-cast flathead six heads in aluminum. Have had bad experience with two different companies taking the money and running, with two different projects.
    Any recommendations ?

    Wow, ambitious to say the least. Got any photos of the cores to share?

    Are these for the Stude 6's? I am sure you know the Champ ones are still being made.

    The Commander 6's aren't, but there are 1 or 2 of those around (Edmunds) if you really look super hard and are lucky to come across one. I lucked into one by chance a few years back and run it and it looks and works great.

    Not the best shot to show the whole head, but here is mine:

    I would start with O'Brian Truckers as they cast car goodies.

    I have had a lot of Buddy Bar equipment and its all top notch.

    I'm serious about Edelbrock. I've got an invite to tour their foundry in San Jacinto Ca.
    I know they do a lot of outside work because I have some Jet Ski motors that they made the castings for, and they are beautiful.
