Hey guys, my name is Chris. I'm 26 years old and I've been into building and restoring muscle cars for a very long time. I'm new to the hot rod thing but I most definitely have the itch nowadays. Suddenly, nothing else seems as cool... I'm in the market for a 1930, '31, or '32 Ford street rod project. I'd love a pickup, but a sedan or coupe would be just as nice. Here are some pictures of my latest endeavor. It's a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda fastback that's in the final stages of restoration.
Wow, I love this car This same model WOULD have been my first car if it hadn't been for the fact that some nit-wit cut the metal and used fiberglass to flare the back fender wells out to cover fat tires. This was 1978 and was a popular cheap modification. My dad said no freekin way! So I bought the 1965 GTO sitting next to it. I paid $500 for the GTO; the 'cuda was $800. You saw these 60's cars all over the place, run down and going cheep. Too bad I didn't have any foresight lol. I could have bought just a few and turned $5,000 into $100,000 today. Thanks again! The color is 2007 Nissan "Liquid Copper" color code R12. The Mopar purists don't like it, but I sure do! She is affectionately and appropriately nicknamed "Pretty Penny," both because she looks like one and because she cost quite a few to build...
