Jean and I did the spectator thing at the 2011 Vintiques of Yakima NW Nationals yesterday morning and here are a few photos of Hamb (or almost) friendly vehicles that I saw. One of the BC cars in attendance Not the most Hamb friendly but it belongs to a friend of mine who I met the first time he drove it to an event almost 30 years ago. He drives the wheels of it. Looks like a lot of low buck fun and I can't believe he had the audacity to call me "Old Timer".

There is the makings of a nice traditional coupe sitting on top of those tires. Slick Falcon longroof with a teardrop trailer Sweet. Bobber trucks don't need to be flat on the ground to be cool. This is a nicely built truck that gets driven a lot. Punched Caddy more door. Simple, blue and sounds great.

Went against my personal rule here as normally I never take a photo of a vehicle with a show board in front of it at and outdoor event.
That's my buddy Ken in the deuce cabriolet in picture number 2. My parents go every year, but I haven't been in about five years. I really enjoy the vintiques show, but it's always so damn hot!
I got a tin garage set exactly like this one for Christmas when I was four or five years old and my uncle Ken put it together for me here in the living room that I am in now about ten feet from where I am sitting. That one is in great shape but I didn't want to spend what he was asking for it. It brought back some Good memories though A bit of a blurred photo of Wayfarer's friend Ken and his car and my friends Ron and Sharon Moore. Traditional interior in a 55 tudor A real crown Vic Straight forward truck interor All I'd do is have the striper change the bottom of the B to an R and not change another thing.
Not quite Hamb Friendly but packing serious horsepower and a full rollbar. My flathead thinks it wants one of these to ride in. I wish the host club had a policy that said that all lawn chairs left on the grounds overnight could be found in a pile at the back gate in the morning. Real chrome reverse wheels. Look to be 49/52 Merc wheels and caps. This is getting stance right.

That's my orginal 1962 drycreek bed find patina 39 Ford pickup. 1938 grill 1940 COE headlights and stands. This truck has been to this run 36 years in a row! Great pictures of the run.
The maroon Mercury is Richard's from down in Prosser. He changes hot rods like some guys change underwear, once a year or so whether he needs to or not.
That's my red '40 Chev business coupe in the 4th pic. I had a great time! Even the dinner that the firefighter's put on was great. Many really great cars and people there. My first time there. If I knew how to post pics here I would put a few pics of the six other cars that drove over togeather from the Bremerton area.
