What Did You Do While The HAMB Was Down

I posted a lot over on the 67-72 truck board. I have built 4 of the generations of chevy trucks, so I like to help them out.

 

I went to the Ford Barn and Craigslist. Alt-tabbed to the HAMB, click refresh. Alt-tabbed to Facebook then I made a post on the HAMB members Facebook site about being bored. Alt-tabbed back to the HAMB and click refresh...repeat. I went to bed at about 10:30. I couldn't sleep so I went back to my office and clicked refresh one more time just after midnight. I'm a lost soul...

 

Checked ebay out and kept coming back to HAMB to see if it was back up.

Oh yeah i played Russian roulet with my .357....I won..

 

Got a decent amount of sleep for a change!

 

bled my brakes
adjust rod from master cylinder to pedals
new bolts in master cylinder to frame
new bolts in the steering box to frame
modified console
cleaned up parts truck, getting ready to sell
took photos of truck and other stuff for craigslist
swept garage

WOW!
My project would be finished if I stayed away from here.

 

I spent my time constructively,.....

i did terrible things to my dog with a fork...

 

It was pretty pathetic.....the guys who work for me were pissed,I paid attention to what they were doing for a change,and their fuckoff time was much shorter..they kept suggesting I check again to see if it was up..like they even needed to tell me that...They LOVE the HAMB,cause I ignore them when I'm playing on here..
Oh,and I bought stupid shit on Ebay,too..

Did the dishes...checked the Hamb
Did the laundry...checked the Hamb
Worked on the garage....yep checked the Hamb
Washed the Wagoon ...checked the Hamb
Put the slicks on went out to car show did a couple launches
came back ..........again checked the Hamb

Thank God its back up i am exhausted....

browsed Garage Journal for a while, still not registered; and stripped a lot of rust off a Model A frame.

 

I found out that I can live without the HAMB, more fun with it thou!

 

so what needed to be done to the website? i dont notice the difference

 

I cried & I cried & I cried.

Then suddenly, it was back up, and I could read all kinds of lame threads that aren't about cool old cars.


The HAMB's been going downhill since Buddy Holly died....

 

I tried to get a life. Then it came back up. I was okay.

 

I had just realized the HAMB was down.....right as my wife rang and said the family car was dead....went and got the next door kid to watch mine and went and bailed Mrs. Salty out....realized that there was no fixin it in the parking lot and used my new fangled "Roadside assistance" (Thanks USAA!) got the family SUV hooked to the house and tore into it.....and realized the engine was shot....

Yea for me....get to find and change a SUV engine....just what I wanted to spend money on!

IT'S THE HAMBS FAULT I SAY!

 

Sat in a chair listening to my wife complain I got home from work too late to take her out to dinner. She went off on me for a loooong time.
Finally me and my old Chevelle went out for an ice cream (alone).
It was restful.

 

Worked on my car and never knew the HAMB was down.

 

Went and got a new tattoo and decided on what colour to paint my new rigid,silver with cream and orange pinstriping?

 

Thought about selling my Mustangs.....

 

Brought up a similar forum on the net and figured out quickly why the HAMB is so popular---it sucked. The HAMB is back--all is well.

 

Almost ended up in a straight jacket and locked up in a rubber room....

 

Me and my Jack Russell Terrior went for a Ice cream cone in the Corvair

 

Wife wanted me to watch a chick flick with her. I kept sneaking off to "pee" and would hit "refresh". Finally got busted and the look I got was kind of an eye-roll...

Slinked back to the couch but it felt like the room temp dropped about 20 degrees..
