    Nothing...Two years later.

  7. This always blows my mind something this cool just seems to vanish from the face of this earth. You would think parts or something would turn up somewhere, somehow.
Very scary to think it could just vanish in thin air.

I swear I'd cut off my left n*** with a broken beer bottle to have 5 minutes alone with the crew that stole your car, or any other 'rat-bastard' that would steal something that represents the amount of 'sweat,' skill, pride, and money it takes to build a "Hot Rod!"
It's been a long time and I know you've already thought of things you 'wish you'd done,' or done differently, and I know you're aware you'll probably never see it again, but for you, and 'all of us,' we need to treat our builds (with security in mind) as though they were all 3/4 million dollar sports cars. Sad, but true; we build these cars with 'the good old days' in mind, but let's face it: these cars are 'High Dollar' at the least these days! As such, they are very visible, desirable targets for low life crooks.
I've lost a car that I could never replace to thieves and my heart goes out to you and all of the other victims that the Police (understandably) just consider "grand theft auto," when they mean so much more to we who build them.

I hate it for him. I sold him the car and he did some great things to it. Every time I see any 33 34 parts that look anything close to what I put in the car I'm looking them over for any details in hope they belong to mikes car

2011...somethings a guy might move on from but just because he does, it doesn't mean he's let it all go.

  16. It’s only been 11 years, :) we’re still pissed at Cuba and North Korea going on 60 now. I’ve built several since just not the forgive and forget type.

Because stealing property is not a reason to take someone’s life.

Not to get all political and stuff but these kids now days have no problem shooting or killing you to get your car or purse, so I say why not return the favor.

But on a lighter note the best thing we can do is put a kill switch in and I have Apple Air tags in all of mine including my dog LOL. (It really pays off when you have a Beagle) if they want it bad enough then they will get it. Even to the point of loading it up on a trailer or flatbed.

But I have read stories about people finding their collector cars 25 or more years later when they roll across an auction block or get tangled up in all of these new laws that have passed about registration of antique vehicles. I pray that if it’s still out there that it comes back to you.
