Hot Rods Run away with the rolling bones traveling circus

There will be a few of us "Hotrod Hoodlums" from central MN meeting up with you in Altoona for the party. Its only a 350 mile drive to get to a hot rod party...... my deuce roadster, mydeuce rpu, friends 34 Chevy , another deuce roadster, a Divco Beer truck...yes with beer in it. Rooms are booked. Great news , We thought the 29 roadster was going to miss the party BUT she has been rescued from Hot Rod purgatory by a true " car " guy and will join the circus in Altoona. Looks like ALL the BONE"S will get a little SALTY .

Looks like I'll be meeting up with you guys on the salt, just not in the cards to meet up on the road. See you in the Casino lot! We'll be hiding the rental in back this year...

 

what time will you leave Altoona, and how fast do you drive? might try to catch you on 80 and hang with you for a few hours

Sounds like a BLAST! Wish I could make the trip, maybe next year in my '36 Suburban as the beer carrier! You guys be safe and make it back in time for the Jalopyrama in Annapolis.

We will be leaving around 7 am . Keith will be approaching the speed sound and sixteen other hot rods will be somewhere in between with the race car trailers running last at about 65 . Several more hot rods will be joining the circus in Omaha and we will end up in North Platte that night.
Where are you thinking about meeting up and do your parents know your REALLY thinking about running away with the circus.

Sounds fun, i wish i could leave a few days early. Probably leave Colorado on the 11th afternoon or early on the 12th.

We have a small group so far 47 Ford coupe and a 63 Fairlane

I'll be in Erie on Saturday to see the circus come to town!! The only problem is clowns kind of freak me out . Have a safe trip..

might try to see the raod show in perrysburgh

 

nothing worse than thinking you're gonna be able to go, then finding out you can't....maybe next year..be watching for all reports about how that wicked y/block powered 32 gobbles salt

Stopped by the Bones Traveling Circus Headquarters yesterday, all seemed under control. All Hamb members travel safe.

 

Now that's one Scary Clown Jon !
This is shaping up to be one Hell of a run to the salt . The trip out will be as much fun as running between the cones and watching the big orange mile markers go by . ( never fast enough )
We look forward to sharing a few beers , telling a few lies and making new friends while leaning on Hot Rods.

Its a shame I can,t join you this year, it would been such a great event. All focus for me on next year then! And please be safe and have fun, showing everyone the thru Hot Rod feeling. Can,t wait to se the pics and vids of the tour.
