    Hi, I'm 45 and race old cars with my son and dad. He runs a 63 Chevy Biscayne called "Bis Quick" and I run a 65 Comet called "Mitch's Comet". We have a 72 Pinto with a 289 in it that we are preping for my son.

    I have been lurking around alot and decided to join.

    I would love to but my car is broke right now. We blew up the transmission on the second pass of the maiden voyage...

    We are saving up to get some better parts and a take another swing.

    I will definately plan on it for next year. Where do you run? I didn't know Salina had a track.

    They run the cars on an old air strip on the east side of Salina.

    Its at the old airport runway...used to be an NHRA or AHRA track...way shorter these days
