  3. What an inspiration! Hope I'm as sharp and spry at 101...if I make it. I can just see myself cruising my 34 five window at 101.

She needs to occupy a place of honor on the HAMB.

Did you hear her "people say -grandpa had a car just like that - and it wasn't just like this at all"?

What a sweet lady. My grandmother gave up her drivers license at 92. She said she was still comfortable driving but was afraid if she was ever involved in an accident everyone would just assume she was at fault. After 80 years behind the wheel (her dad taught her how to drive when she was 12) without so much as a parking ticket (no accidents) it would have broke her heart to have anyone think she was doing something she couldn't handle.

91-year old Richie Zimmerman is currently racing a Ford Pinto in the Mini Stock division at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale in Southern California. Zimmerman is a one man army who does everything himself at the track with no help.

Growing up my next door lady lived to 101. At 100 she was still backing her 63 caddy into her garage door!:p I think she gave the car to a caddy dealer here in DFW and they put it on display for awhile on the showroom floor.

Good for her! Glad to see both are still running... or as the case may be, moving.

The more I read about her the more I fall in love with her.....I wonder if she's ever had a stalker before??:D

I'm more the type to bring her something, a gift, rather then ask her for something (autograph). Cookies are always a nice gift.;)

For sure, and will post if I am able to get a photo with her.

    Incredible!

A very inspirational person. She really turns any preconceived ideas on aging right on their head.

    And that Packard is incredible!

Look for a 914 Porsche at Bonneville this year with 4 turbos on the engine. Built and driven by Lloyd Silacci 90+ years young. What an inspiration.

She was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and outgoing. We had a great visit today despite the heat.
