Thursday morning I was in Northern Wisconsin driving West on Hwy 64 between Cornell and Bloomer. I saw a rather tall narrow vehicle coming toward me trailing a grey cloud. At first I suspected a tractor, then maybe a model A. As I got closer I could see it was a shiny red Stanley Steamer. The guy was traveling along at a pretty good clip. I almost turned around to catch up with him but I had to get back to work.

Anybody driving a Stanley up that way?

Did the driver have grey hair and a chin you could use for a coat rack?

I don't think Jay Leno lives in Wisconsin.

To damn funny, but with that said. As the thread states about seeing somethings up ahead thats smoking is how I seen Jay Leno for the first time cruz'n down San Fernando Rd. My first thought was (not knowing who it is)why doesn't this fool pull over before he kills his car. Then low and behold its Jay in a Steamer.

I was thinking that something was wrong too, until I could see it wasn't smoke because it disappeared too fast instead of drifting. They had to be a road hazard if very many of them got together. I wouldn't want to be in a Stanley Steamer parade.
