First Hot Rod I ever saw was at Compo Beach in Westport back in the early 1960's. Green 1932 Ford Cabriolet with a HEMI, thought it was the neatest thing in the world for years. Later in life I found a little pages magazine with a feature on it, reality sucks some times. I'd still like to find the car or know what happened to it. :)

  12. No I didn't go to school there but my sister went to Staples. We moved back to Cali in '67. She graduated in '68. Her name was Julianna Pennington. What are the chances you 2 knew each other....LOL.

That '32 Cabriolet owner was a member of The Downshifters. Who was the fellow club member that later in life won Two Academy Awards? :)

Sure brings back some wonderful memories from when I lived in Norwalk.

My son raced karts at the beach from 1984 until 1990 when we headed for warmer weather.

Still have many friends in the Stamford and Norwalk area along with family.
