61 c10 frame swap

Im restoring a 61 chevy c10 and the frame is toast. It looks like im going to have to swap the frame. I have an 89 chevey 3/4 ton frame short wheelbase and I was wondering if that would work. I've read alot of people using s10 frames and pre87 frames I appercaite your help.

 

would you be interested in a original frame for your project

 

I will probaly end up just fixing mine. But i really wanted a 3/4 ton so i could tow with it.

I did the s10 frame swap on my 55, but I'm pretty sure it'll be too small for your c10, especially if you plan to tow with it. I dunno if the 89 frame would fit, but I'll be you can make it work if you want it to!
