We used to have good times at Syracuse...nice folks up there!
I run my 39' w/o a hood and for the first time, I had a problem at the Nationals.
It had rained hard on the field about 5 years ago, and when I went back to my car to start it the starter clunked and broke. Ended up that I had "Hydra" lock and after installing two starters and kicking over the engine w/o the plugs...my problem was solved. Anyway, it was the help of other Rodders and Advance Auto parts, that I was able to pick-up the part I needed....
I heard that "Upstate N.Y." wanted to Suceed from "Metro N.Y." and start their own state!

^^^ Kind of kool, I don't like the wheel and tire combo though

  6. That is a beautiful 55, that's the way I'd want mine to look.

Until recently this '55 was owned by Roger Cavallaro of Rochester, NY. Now owned by Rob Green.

Thanks for the pics! I miss being able to go to this show...that Buick gasser is pretty neat , and I love that ol 58 Pontiac custom (I think it was a Pontiac?) its been quite a few years since I saw it in person.

Could you guys help me track down this dragster from Lyons, NY? This has to have some history behind it? Thanks, Joe [IMG]
