We have some pretty neat stuff lined up for this year. For those of you who haven't been, this is a traditional style car show in Downtown Dallas, Tx. Deep Ellum to be exact. There are plenty of new restaurants and bars that have opened since last year, plenty of music venues to choose from and more. Trees will be open all day for people to go in and cool off. Live music during the day, and party at Trees w/ Lee Rocker and Derailers later in the evening.

$35 to register your car and includes a shirt. Paid online registrations also get one free ticket to Dick Dale.

Traditional '63 and earlier cars and truck only. NO Rat Rods, NO Street Rods. Early style bikes welcome, i.e. bobbers, cafe, etc.

I will be making the trip up for this show.

 

I plan to attend for the first time. Looking forward to it!! Plan to take the '53 pickup and maybe the '55 Merc.

no, sorry Dick Dale is no longer playing. Lee Rocker will be taking his place. The amount of rust is relative to the size of car of course, haha.

We also have some really cool awards that are going to be given out from clubs, attendees and more. Some examples are the Chris Ito Design award and the Reverend Horton Heat Hot Rod award.

Lots of vendors this year as well, not just car parts, art and clothes either. This year we will have a number of unique food vendors as well.

Gonna be fun. We'll be there setting up our tent. Probably be offering 10% off of classic auto air and rebel wire sets.

We've never had any luck with the raffles, but if you have a prize or something you could always do a "NTXcustoms Pick" or something and present it with the awards.

Yeah it is tough. That's one big reason we ask people to pre-register or at least talk to us if they are unsure. It's not an easy job. I personally like just about anything on wheels, but other don't. Spectators expect to see hot rods and kutoms of a certain style at this show, so we try, in the most polite way possible to keep the show up to everyones standards and at the same time try not to alienate anyone based on personal opinion.... there's never a perfect balance though..

The guys from 'Them!' CC of Dallas put on a heck of a show, it gets better every year. Let's make it a great turn out and support this show so the guys can continue this venue. See ya there!
