On the way home from the Camwinders show my buddy texted me and said he had got his car running.
So I stopped by and we went for a Dicks Burger.
Cut off year for his build 1936 and yes that includes mechanical brakes

Good for Mark! It's good to see his car back on the road.

11. Yep it rides and moves real nice. Twice at Dick's in one night though? Good job Mark!

12. man, that does make the T look small. I really like the execution on that A. Is that the same Mark at Street rod visions up in Lynnwood?

For those that don't know this guy, he built this car about four years ago then proceeded to drive it as his daily driver for two years(rain or snow!). He then got bored and pulled the body off the frame and STARTED OVER! The first incarnation was kinda 40's/50's roundy round style and after less than a year theres nothing on the car newer then 1938. Like Pete already alluded its an almost bone stock '32 frame and suspension pieced together one part at a time.

The "Before"
Nothing really outta place but not good enough for this guy.

Heres an early mock up...it will eventually have a full hood.

The Motor
1937 motor..the last year for the 21 stud but with the insert bearings. '32 heads with an early Weiand high rise and a converted V12 lincoln distributor to run like a dual coil set up.

The Dash
'32 dash with '34 Packard gauges and hand pump to pressurize the 1918 dodge fuel tank. '36 Lincoln steering wheel with fully functioning '32 ford horn button and light switch.

Forget about American Pickers Mark finds the cool shit, in this picture alone there is a complete 25 T pickup A 27 roadster T body up against the wall a 31 roadster on 32 rails obviously and a Indian motorcycle from the 30’s
He also found most of the rare stuff I have on my build

21. You should have seen how happy he was when he found that early Weiand intake at LARS this year. He didn't waste any time fixing it and getting it on. Looks great. I really could use a Dick's Deluxe and fries right about now. Nothing better. Tell Mark I said it looks awesome-Dale

Great car and a fun video even though the lights bouncing around almost gave me a case of motion sickness. Damn realistic ride in the T.

My camera rather liked your T at Billetproof

Thanks Mr48chev the HAMB badge you can see on the firewall is coming off when I get home tonight. I have chosen not to contribute here anymore and this will be my last post.
My trad buddies including Mark all made fun of it anyway

25. Dang Pete, I really enjoyed watching your builds too. Your bucket was looking great at The Beggars car show.

Heres a small update on Mark's ride. He found a krusty '32 chevrolet hood that fits like a glove!!

Looks pretty mean.

Slick vents with chrome finger pulls (notice the early '32 ford hood hold downs that were on the production line for only 2 weeks!)

27. I hope my coupe ends up this cool.

28. Nice car, video would have been a million times better if I could have heard the engine insted of whoever the band was.

29. So what is the story with the chevy hood? Does it just drop on?
