Here is a copy of the bill of sale when the previous owner bought the Coupe in 1958:

It doesn't get any better than this. Nice thread on your 34 from beginning to end. back in the 50's I bought several 33-34's for $5.00 to $15.00 each. Unreal isn't it?

Pick up these hubcaps. I've been told they were 61-62 Ford caps.

Beautiful car! Really wish the radials were gone though....It needs bias plies. My 2 cents.

Dropped the car off at Mild to Wild Classic to have the upholstery completed and to go over a few things to get it safely on the road. http://www.mildtowildclassics.com/

I've seen their work and they do a good job. Going to finish it like it was started in the 70's style. Keeping it period correct when it being built by the original owner.

I also stopped at the NM MVD and got a NM title, RT 66 plate and registration. So when it's done at the shop I should be able to drive it home. [IMG]

You are going to strip and gut it and chop it up and throw away the fenders and make a Rat Rod so it will fit this forum, RIGHT??? :)

Made by Permanent Filter Division of Continental Manufacturing Corp. Culver City, CA.
Found this ad for the oil filter in the Aug 1954 Popular Mechanics. Got it at a swap meet for $15 brand new in the box still.

    Thanks!

Yes, sometimes the hardest part is getting that important piece of paper!! All I had was a bill of sale.

Rich aka "I partout chevys!!" got me a CA title using my mom's address in CA. No problems at the NM MVD. Did the vin inspection, gave them money. Title, plate and registration in hand.

  25. Great score! My 34 five window started with a rusty ex-race car with the body cut into 4 pieces to store it indoors in an attic. I can't even imagine starting with a complete car. Nice!

Stopped at Mild to Wild today and dropped off a LimeWorks hood strap kit.
They have the exhaust system done and will start on the upholstery next week.
