The Million Dollar Question: 3W or 5W?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Jive-Bomber, Jul 12, 2011.

  1. 3W - I've always wanted one in either '32, '33 or '34 variety.

If someone is going to give me one for free , well then I am not greedy . I will take either one and be very happy ! To be honest , the 3 window is really nice but so is a 5 window . Both have their place but I will be happy as hell with either one !

If it's full fendered my choice is a 3-W, chopped high boy would be a 5-W......

5 window!!! It's my daughter's wedding for gods sake. She likes the 5 window over the 3 window as well.

Gotta love those 3w's ! Just have a class look to me, not that I would turn down a 32 5w if someone asked me in a nice way to take it!

OK i added them all up and the 5 windows win 56 to 35.So as of right now 5w s are officially worth more because they are the favored in the 1,000,000 dollar question.

  12. Had a 5w very similiar to this in the 60's not as low but close and always in grey primer. Everyone said too bad it's not a 3w back then. I would give my right *** to find or buy that car back today .
It will always be the 5w for me

  13. 3 window... if I wanted a 5 window... I'd have a Model A!

  14. there is something about a 3 window channeled, not chopped with a full tilt flattie that just screams hot rod to me...maybe throw some cycle fenders on it.... yeah 3 window is my choice

I'll take the 5 window if he is giving it to me, then try and buy the 3 window off of him too.

Was just looking thru some early to mid 70's mags and found a car that has always stuck in my mind. 32 3window, red, unchopped, channeled the width of the frame, Scott blown flatty with painted wires and wide dirt trackers on the back. That does it for me,Cat

Make mine a chopped 5window with full fenders (though it would be nice to be able to remove them if needed) ,Buick or Olds powered, distressed brown leatther interior and of course BLACK!

    5 window without a doubt.

    1. Weesner draggin deuce inspired. hard chop, channeled so you can still see the reveal. 392 hemi 6 strombergs, 4 speed. Chrome the shit out of everything. Gold body and frame. Chrome reverse wheels on whitewall cheater slicks. Hot Damn, I want it!

    2. Piss yellow milner style with a harder chop like the car in the first pic

    3. Hard chop full fendered 5 window. Lou bingham/ Morton's Jive Five inspired. 331 caddy, 5 speed, quickchange.
